It’s about time
For me to resume actually writing something onto my blog. This place has been a photoblog for way too long and since I ended school my writing standards have tumblr-ed (hahaha? D:) all the way down to that of a tween.
So alas, I present thee, my first written post of the year. I know I know it’s a fortnight to 2012 (and being 20 OH SNAP I THOUGHT ID REMAIN 18 FOREVER.) but it’s never too late is it?
But noo this is a tumblrog or tumblog or tumblinglog or whatchamacallit, and following the spirit of TUMBLR-ing? My future posts must contain pictures as well mustn’t it? No sweat, my iPhone/Nikon FM2 are here!
So… Here’s a small update on my life, just in case I turn senile next year.
At this point in time I’m currently four weeks away from completing my course in OCS, which is well….kinda not what I expected. Shan’t talk about it here though.
Currently awaiting my posting which will determine my life for the next two years am I’ll admit that I hope I’ll get a posting that isn’t too time consuming for I don’t want 2012 to be as uneventful as this year. (I was mostly kept sane, alive and so awfully happy by this one very special girl who makes occasional appearances here as there on this blog.) Army hasn’t exactly been productive or fruitful in any way to my life and I guess this explains my lack of enthusiasm towards it. besides, I haven’t even gotten my driving licence yet.
Well I hope that after commissioning when I actually get to do a real job I’d actually learn something useful from it or make some positive difference so I guess it’ll be a million times better than being in a training school (what I’ve been doing in the past year)
But then again there are many things which are a million times better than what I’ve been doing. Being on fire, Tuberculosis, stuff like that.
