It was enriching and heartening to be able to see my great friend Fadzly transform from a carefree bachelor to a responsible, loving father and husband.
For the record, he was my Secondary 2 Geography teacher. Seemingly stern, he gave his game away by exposing his JOE BOXERS while reaching for the projector screen one day. Lovingly referred to as “Hairy Beast” by his students, he went on to be a wonderful friend and mentor, passing on to me lessons and experiences outside the classroom, and always giving me a heads up when i actually experience things for the first time in life, be it choice of school, relationships (and breakups), OCS, the list goes on.
CONGRATULATIONS FADZ, thank you for the wonderful influence you continue to have in our lives. And all the best in your daunting endeavour in being a father. You’ll do just fine, trust me! :D
